Who Started Men With Pain?
Men with Pain was started by Luke Westwood, who has been working as an eLearning Designer for 10+ years and has also been living with chronic pain for 20 years.
Luke decided to start Men with Pain because he had always seen a huge gap with wellness support for men, who are living with chronic pain.
As men, it’s well known we struggle to share how we’re feeling with those around us. Whether it’s talking to our family, friends or colleagues. We’re just not good at letting others know when we’re struggling. That’s what motivated me to start Men with Pain.
Whilst our career in eLearning can be an exciting, rewarding and empowering one; when we’re having to juggle our career with chronic pain, it can feel like climbing a mountain every day. And when we’re working remotely, it can become even harder, as isolation can make our pain worse during those difficult moments of pain.
All of this combined can make you us extremely isolated when there’s no one around us who understands what we’re going through and there’s nowhere to get support. That’s why Luke started Men with Pain.
